Teens with Sickle Cell meet Life-saving Donors at Hoxworth Event Taryn Walker, 15 and King Walker, 13, got to meet donors who are helping to save the siblings lives. Both Taryn and King have Sickle Cell disease and rely upon blood transfusions to keep them alive. The pair had the honor of meeting local donors at a reception hosted by Hoxworth Blood Center on July 31, 2019.
